Therapies Offered
Acupuncture
Insertion of hair thin needles, into specific points on the body, to promote healing.
Cupping
The use of plastic or glass cups, creating suction, as a way of stimulating the flow of energy.

NOTE: This is not used for patient's on blood thinners, those with open skin lesions, or a rash in the area of the cupping.
This therapy can leave temporary marking on the skin
Guasha
Guasha involves scraping the skin, to improve circulation and to release toxins, in the soft tissue. Guasha helps to move stagnant energy and decrease inflammation.

Moxibustion
A traditional Chinese medicince therapy which consists of burning dried mugwort. Moxa can be used directly at the base of the needle, or indirectly, on the top of the acupuncture needle. Moxa can help to stimulate circulation through the points and induce a smoother flow of blood and qi. Moxa is very warming and helps to also rid the body of cold and dampness
Magnet therapy
Using magnets on specific points, to continue the treatment of that point. The patient is usually sent home with the magnets and given instructions on the use
Electrical Stimulation
This is a therapeutic treatment that applies electrical stimulation to certain needles, in order to manage pain and to increase circulation to the area. The stimulation machine is attached directly to the needle, delivering a very deep sensation, into the muscle.

Diode Therapy
The use of diode therapy to help heal the body
Reiki
Hands on healing with transferal of the Reiki energy to the patient. This transferal of energy helps to balance the Chakras (Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown). Balancing the Chakras can help to heal physical and emotional ailments, that the body may have.
